Women are leading Arkansas forward!

Join us for a collaboration between The Yarn and the Women’s Foundation of Arkansas for an incredible storytelling event, “Striving Forward: True Stories from Arkansas Women.”

Ten storytellers from across Arkansas will share their successes and challenges in education, motherhood, and business ownership. Arkansan woman will tell true tales that will make you laugh, cry, and cheer. It’s a night you won’t want to miss.

In 2018, the Women’s Foundation released a report, Economic Indicators for Women in Arkansas: State, Region, and County, which is meant to enhance our understanding of the nuance and variation in women’s economic status within our state. These women’s stories will reflect the reality behind that data.
