Collectively, Americans travel a remarkable 182 billion miles during this season, taking to the road more than any other time throughout the year. Whether for Thanksgiving, Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, Bodhi Day, or Pancha Ganapati, most are en route to a common destination – the dinner table. This performance typifies a remark by Michael J. Fox, that “the oldest form of theater is the dinner table.”
