Arkansas 28-Day Racial Equity & Social Justice CHALLENGE | Every Monday in February 2021 | Virtual WORKSHOPS
Grounded in a shared goal of racial justice, join us as we learn about the power of storytelling to heal, learn, and build community.
As part of a series of weeklong events commemorating the National Day or Racial Healing spearheaded by the Arkansas Peace and Justice Memorial Movement, The Yarn will host the third in a series of workshops that will take place throughout the month of February on Mondays (2/1, 2/8, 2/15, 2/22).
This third workshop will center on giving participants the skills to form their own narrative around their experience(s) with racism. The Monday evening workshops that follow will involve small groups of participants sharing their stories in an effort to build a base of understanding of structural racism, so that we might create a more inclusive community together.
