As a program officer at Winrock International, Amy manages the I-Fund, an accelerator for scalable, early-stage entrepreneurs located throughout Arkansas. She develops program curriculum, instructs entrepreneurs and collaborates with entrepreneurial support organizations throughout the country to recruit entrepreneurs, mentors and instructors into the program.
In 2017, Amy completed the Lean LaunchPad® Educators Program in Boston and led a lean startup training course for USAID’s Tech4Farmers entrepreneurs in Singapore. Amy was the teaching team for the University of Arkansas’ I-Corps program and completed her second year of the Community Development Institute during the summer of 2019.
Amy received her bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Oklahoma and has four years of corporate finance experience. She is a member of the Junior League of Little Rock and a graduate of the Delta Leadership Institute’s 2019 Executive Academy.
Amy tells folks that she moved to Little Rock for a man and an awesome job and still has the awesome job. She exchanged her engagement ring for a down payment on a house, which provided ample content for her story at the Yarn’s show focused on neighbors.
