Jessica Mashburn was born and raised in the Little Rock area and graduated from UALR in 2009 with a bachelor’s in sociology. She is currently working on her master’s in Rehabilitation Counseling. She is a passionate advocate for disability rights, women’s rights, and the LGBTQ community. She enjoys traveling, journaling, reading, and learning everything she can about history. The best thing she ever did for herself was take a three week solo trip to Europe for her 30th birthday where she got to do all those things and more. Jessica is a firm believer in not taking yourself too seriously, that laughter is the best medicine, and in giving back to others.
