Quitina Watson

Qutina “Tina” Watson serves as the Special Projects support staff for a national early literacy nonprofit.

She received her BA from Lane College in 2006, master’s in Psychology from Capella University in 2010 and is presently pursuing a PhD in Education from Capella University. A passionate advocate against sexual assault, Tina has shared her experience as a survivor during numerous local public speaking engagements.

As a writer, Tina has contributed several monthly online and printed publications and maintains a personal blog, The Creole Soul of a Guillory. In addition to writing, she enjoys collecting Historically Black Colleges & Universities (HBCU) paraphernalia and supporting Arkansas’ efforts to address homelessness.

Tina published her first novel, Shattered But Not Broken, in 2014 and is currently writing her second novel. She resides in Conway, Arkansas.
