Reyna Marquez is an active organizer based in Little Rock, AR. She’s currently a volunteer intern for Arkansas United, an immigrant resource center. Being the daughter of immigrants, she applies her experiences to her work with United, not just through outreach, but communicating these concerns to our legislators at the capitol. Born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona during former Sheriff Joe Arpaio’s tenure, she and her family have first hand experience facing discrimination from law enforcement. Reyna plans on going to law school and hopes to work alongside Arkansas’s senators and representatives to help the most vulnerable members in her community.
